Thank you all for a wonderful stay of 6 nights. The unit we got was good-sized and individually decorated with hammam-like bathroom, a TV and space for a sofa. The location was wonderful - so close to the restaurant, Dar Dmana and stores. Fes El Bali district was worth staying in.
Nothing bad to say.

Appreciated the Moroccan-style building and our great-sized and individually decorated room with queen bed. The location was magnificent and wonderful, the staff was efficient! We didn't feel like leaving and would love to come back.
Zero issues.

I've stayed here before and always enjoyed the modern air-conditioned rooms with a comfortable queen bed, the friendly and helpful staff, and its convenient location in the old town.

Lovely typical Moroccan rooms & decor without being cramped, most friendly reception from owner Khalid with lots of help, he even insisted on vetting (and approved) the guide we had talked with before arriving (his son spotted our Spanish registered classic car on the way into town & guided us expertly to the Riad!). As it's a guest house meals had to be ordered in advance but there is an excellent typical restaurant minutes away where we had great tajine and couscous. Rooms differ so ask to see several - we had asked for a twin but were shown a double first which definitely was a class up, but then we were only staying one night. Be prepared to be woken by prayers from the mosque next door during the night!

Well maintained, authentic riad. NIcely presented rooms. Good location.
There was a lot of pressure from male staff to pay for additional services, such as tour guides and excursions. We did not feel that they provided genuine, helpful service. The breakfast was disappointing. The riad was noisy because there was a large group with many young children and our room was adjacent to the communal area. Finally, we left early on our last day and no breakfast was offered although it was included in the price of the room.

The incredible location in the old town and close proximity to Jacksonville Beach Pier made it a fantastic place to stay.

The service was outstanding. The whole stuff was always there to give us a feeling to be home. The food was delicious and gave us a wide spread of different tastes.Try it and see and taste yourself. Definately a must a tour with one of the guides. We recommend Abdul. His knowledge about the city, region and other culture aspects were enomours. Thanks for this wonderful time and hospitality.
we would recommend a room with a window to the outside. There are some rooms with windows to the courtyard at the inside which could be not pleasent for some travelers.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The location was perfect, situated just inside the medina near the Batha, so it was easy to navigate in and out of the maze-like alleys. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff who even arranged for a taxi to pick us up when we arrived late. The room was luxurious and had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning, a comfy sitting area, and a safe for our valuables. We also loved the free Wi-Fi and the lovely patio where we could relax and soak in the atmosphere of the city.
We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

Riad Dar Dmana was where my parents stayed when they visited me during my study abroad program in Fes. Now that I'm all grown up, I go back to Morocco as often as possible (as the country holds a spot dear to my heart). Dar Dmana is a perfect example of Moroccan culture--incredibly warm and friendly staff who are eager to help, beautiful rooms and an absolutely breathtaking common space where breakfast is served (and dinner, if you like). In short, Dar Dmana is a phenomenal experience rich in Moroccan culture.

Spacious rooms with great bathroom! Helpful staff. Beautiful interior, photos on this website don't really do this riad justice
A bit impersonal compared to other places we stayed in Morocco...although friendly
